For me it is a great pleasure to be able to share with you these little capsules of geographic content about this beautiful country called Venezuela. Every day we will have a delivery with its respective image of the state. We will not touch on the internal problems that are many, and in some cases painful, we will only focus on the marvel of its landscapes, natural resources and its beautiful people who day by day struggle not to lose their dignity of being human.
Hoping that this third installment will give you a small vision of this Magic World called Venezuela.

In the Falcón state state is the best known desert in Venezuela. It is actually a long and narrow strip of land that connects the Paraguaná peninsula with the mainland, through which a road passes that allows visitors to get off theirvehicles and walk through the immense sand dunes shaped by the wind, the famous dunes of Coro.

Coro, the capital, awaits a detained visit before continuing to the peninsula. Founded in 1527, the city sits directly in front of the isthmus of the Médanos de Coro National Park, and carries a glorious list of titles: it was the first capital of Venezuela, the first bishopric, the first cathedral, the mother-city and Cultural Heritage of Humanity since 1993. It is the most beautiful and best preserved showcase of colonial architecture in Venezuela.

The churches are one of the few religious monuments from the 16th century that remain in Venezuela; the church and convent of San Francisco (late 19th century); the church and the cross of San Clemente (17th century); the Arcaya and Senior houses, with beautiful wooden balconies on the corner; the Alberto Henríquez Museum, where the old Jewish oratory has been restored, whose sand floor evokes a particular style of the Antillean islands; the church of San Nicolás (18th century); the Jewish cemetery, the oldest on the continent, and the house of Santa Rosa, all expertly restored.
